Urzay (Bilbao, 1958) lleva a cabo en nuestro país una de la
más originales reflexiones plásticas centradas en la
exploración de las relaciones entre el arte digital y su faceta
virtual, fotografía y realidad, y nuevas codificaciones de la
pintura cuya reflexión en torno a la relación entre
realidad y ficción siguen cuestionando, mediante la
hibridación de técnicas y procedimientos, conceptos
relacionados con la multiplicidad, autenticidad y simulacro de la obra
de arte y sus reversos creativos.

The work of Darío Urzay (Bilbao, 1958) involves one of the most
original plastic reflections in our country focused on the exploration
of relations between digital art and its virtual facet, photography and
reality, and new codings of painting whose reflection regarding the
relation between reality and fiction continue, by means of the
hybridisation of techniques and procedures, to question concepts
related to multiplicity, authenticity and the simulacrum of the work of
art and its creative reverses.
