esp La obra de Begoña Zubero (Bilbao, 1962) se vincula al
genero de la fotografía documental que actualiza mediante una
personal poética de la mirada y un fuerte compromiso
ético. Sus primeras series en blanco y negro, tomadas en la
ciudad de Nueva York están influidas por el civismo
documentalista de fotógrafos como Walter Evans. Otras series
posteriores abordan el género del bodegón mediante la
asunción del ready made y la exaltación de la vida
secreta de los objetos cotidianos, llegando más tarde hasta la
fotografía abstracta...

(Bilbao, 1962) is tied to the genre of documentary photography
which she updates by means of personal poetics of the look and a
powerful ethical commitment. Her early series in black and white, taken
in New York City, are influenced by the documentalist civicism of
photographers such as Walter Evans. Other later series tackle the genre
of the still-life by means of taking on the ready made and the
exaltation of the secret life of everyday objects, reaching later on as
far as abstract photography...
