esp José Manuel Broto (Zaragoza, 1949), es quizá el artista que mayor tiempo lleva pensando y continúa desarrollando en nuestro país, una pintura de análisis y sintaxis específicamente pictóricos. En 1972 se traslada a Barcelona donde forma el grupo Trama junto con Xavier Grau, Gonzalo Tena y Javier Rubio, influidos por la elaboración del estructuralismo francés de las revistas Tel Quel y Peinture.
